Wanting to experience more, I traveled to Japan for a month. The depth of skill, sensitivity, and the unique cultural flavors each community brought into the dance was truly inspiring.
Experiencing Contact Improvisation through different cultures expanded my understanding once again — revealing how movement, touch, rhythm, and communication transform through cultural perspective while still sharing the same essence of connection.
