Workshop terms — dancedot (Dorothée Däster, Uster, Switzerland).
1. Scope
These terms apply to all workshops, classes, jams and immersions offered by dancedot on dancedot.art and in person.
2. Registration
Registration is binding once payment is received. Spots are allocated on a first-paid, first-served basis. Confirmation arrives by email within a day or two of payment.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are listed per workshop in Swiss Francs (CHF). Payment is by bank transfer or — where indicated — Twint or in cash on arrival. We may adjust prices or formats for future editions; once you are registered for a specific date, the price at registration applies.
4. Cancellation and refunds
See the cancellation policy. In short:
- More than 14 days before: full refund minus CHF 40 admin fee.
- 7–14 days before: 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before: no refund (you may send someone in your place).
If we cancel the workshop, you get a full refund or a credit for a future edition.
5. Health and participation
You take part at your own responsibility. Please tell us about injuries or conditions that affect movement, but the responsibility for your body during the practice remains yours. Contact Improvisation involves weight-sharing between consenting adults — at any time you may withdraw or modify contact.
6. Photo, video, recording
Workshops are not routinely filmed. If a session is filmed (rare, always announced in advance), you may opt out and your image will not be used.
7. Liability
dancedot is not liable for personal injury or loss of property during a workshop, except in cases of intent or gross negligence on our part.
8. Privacy
Your data (name, email, payment information) is processed solely to administer your registration and our practice list. It is not shared with third parties. You may request deletion at any time by writing to contact@dancedot.art.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction is Zürich.
